Ready to Get Spooked?
Well... not at Elwin. Elwin is excited to announce that this year we will be making our Fall Festival extra special, as well as parent and student friendly. The school is going to try something more exciting than simply a Halloween Parade where students walk in circles while they show off their costumes. Although that will continue to exist, the school is preparing to make Halloween the most exciting it has been in years. We will be inviting the community to our first Fall Festival, which will take place on October 30th, 2018. Our event will begin at 3:30 p.m. and conclude at 6:00 p.m.
During our Fall Festival, we will be having an event called a Trunk or Treat, where children will be able to trick or treat at Elwin. There will be cars that will be decorated in spooky attire and all in attendance will be able to vote for your favorite car. Additionally, Think Together will be creating a kid friendly haunted house. The haunted house will cost $2 per entry. Also, you will also be able to participate in an activity at a craft table to create a craft with your child, and of course, food to enjoy while you observe the creative and spooky costumes. Moreover, our event will continue to include a Halloween Parade & Costume Contest where some students will earn prizes. These are only a few of the many activities the school has planned, and we expect many students and parents from the community, so make sure that you arrive to the Fall Festival on time to enjoy all the wonderful activities. We hope to see you at the celebration.
